In our country, there has been a big change in the economy, politics, and spiritual life of society. This has led to a big rise in interest in religion. Patriarch Kirill believes that now more than ever, our people need the Church to speak out and give clear answers to all the problems of modern life. In the same way, the President of the Russian Federation, V.V. Putin, says that without traditional spiritual and moral values, mostly tied to Orthodoxy, we can't progress in today’s changing world—an idea echoed in “How Belief Affects the Body’s Response to Stress,” which shows how belief shapes resilience.
Faith is one of the things that helps people live a full life on all levels—physical, mental, and spiritual. It awakens a person's spiritual and physical resources, gives life a feeling of wholeness and significance, helps them get out of a crisis, and makes stress less difficult. Modern science also shows that stress can show up in many ways, from bad changes in the body to good and bad reactions of the body in both extreme and routine situations. In these terms, a lot of people nowadays are trying to deal with the stress by going to the Church, sometimes without even realizing that religion is a part of this process.
Stress can happen naturally when bad things happen, such work pressure, family problems, or money problems

B. Malinowski says that religion comes into play when a person has nothing to look forward to. Because of this, its functional definitions will be based on the notion that societies or most people in societies have certain problems or challenges that are ultimate. Functional definitions of religion tend to answer a different question than "What is the religion?" But what does it do? In other words, they look at the usual ways that people behave in religious settings. So, in the broadest sense, religion is the unique part of a person's, a group's, or a society's spiritual life, or the way they control the world in a spiritual way.
Religious spirituality is a big part of a person's religious faith. It includes their beliefs, images, ideas, and experiences. The scale of believer-non-believer is based on several things, such as following the commandments, going to church, taking part in worship services, and following "sacraments," among other things. They help other individuals have a happy attitude by building trust, openness, and emotional significance in their interactions with people around them.
Believers are also more flexible and able to evolve in their connections with the world

Also, people who are religious can experience life to the fullest and more deeply. It is good for a believer to maintain a calm attitude regarding death. They are likely to respond correctly when things are new to them. Also, the believers have their own laws, such an inner moral law and clear judgments. For believers, religion is a way to meet their needs as they search for the meaning of life, ultimate moral standards, and the basis for a cohesive and coherent worldview in which norms of good are very important [3, 4, 12, 16].
G. Allport [13] said that all believers should be divided into two groups, but only under certain conditions. Going to church, attending religious group events, and outwardly denying their beliefs are all ways for them to prove that they are socially acceptable and follow the rules of their religion. People like this also fall into this category since religion might be important to them for other reasons, such how it makes them feel better, keeps them emotionally stable, and helps them get over bad feelings.
The main idea behind both of these types of religiosity is how people see the significance and worth of religion in terms of how useful it is

People can say that religion is important because it serves to make society more moral, settle disagreements, and so on. In this case, it is an outside religiosity. People who are religious are often healthier than people who don't believe, but no one knows why this is the case. Some ideas about why this happens are known, but [10, 15]. It helps people deal with the challenges of life that they can't control, like the death of loved ones, significant sickness, job loss, and so on, by providing them a reason to live, hope, and freedom.
It's important to point out that religion, believing in God, and the hereafter as a reward for doing well in this life help people connect with the past and the future as part of the chain of living that has purpose and reason. And it helps people get through tough times and provides life a sense of purpose and fulfillment [1, 9]. To test this hypothesis, data were taken from the International Institute of Human Reserve Capabilities (Saint Petersburg) (IIHR). In 2019-20, a study was done to find out the psychological profile of 113 patients who were part of classes on psychophysical self-regulation.
Conclusion

The results of the IIHR questionnaire question about your feelings about church rites and sacraments were divided into two groups: those that took place inside the church and those that took place outside the church. All of the social-demographic, anamnesis, and clinical data showed that the groups of patients were statistically similar. We used a multi-amed system psychodiagnostic approach to check the mental health of the people who answered. This included a test on how well they could handle stress (Shcherbatykh Yu.V.), a test on how depressed they were (A.T. Beck), and a test on how anxious they were (Spielberger Khanin). They found that the main psychological signs in MIRVCH patients were close to the edges of the scales used in the tests.
